Cutoff does not collect any data. It has no account system, no server, and no networking code whatsoever. Nothing you enter leaves your device.
Nothing. We do not collect personal data, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, or analytics of any kind.
Drinks you log, and your settings (bedtime, half-life, body weight, and the two metabolism toggles), are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Cutoff reads your sleep data so it can show it next to your caffeine. This is read-only and stays on your device — it is never uploaded, shared, or used for anything else. If you use Oura or Whoop, their sleep reaches Cutoff only because those apps write it into Apple Health; Cutoff does not connect to Oura or Whoop directly and has no access to your accounts with them. You can revoke Health access any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Cutoff contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising, no tracking, and no crash reporting. We do not share data with anyone, because we do not have any.
Cutoff does not track you across apps or websites and does not request permission to do so.
Cutoff is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
You can export everything you've logged as a CSV file (Settings → Export as CSV) and delete everything at any time (Settings → Delete all data). Deleting the app also removes all of it.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, that will be disclosed here and in the App Store privacy label before it ships.
