Caffeine & sleep, estimated honestly.
Cutoff shows how much caffeine is in your body right now, and estimates a wind-down window — the range of times it typically drops below the level that starts affecting sleep. A range, not a single time, because caffeine's half-life varies from about 2 to 10 hours between people.
It also shows two different answers for when to stop drinking: one from caffeine's half-life, and one from sleep research — which points to cutting off considerably earlier. They genuinely disagree, so Cutoff shows both rather than picking a winner.

Cutoff is for general information and self-awareness. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it can't tell you how you'll sleep — caffeine is one of many things that affect that. Estimates are based on a simplified pharmacokinetic model and published averages; individual metabolism varies widely. If you're pregnant, taking medication, or have questions about caffeine and your health, talk to a healthcare professional.
